Calm Dogs. Confident Owners. Real Connection.

Canine Composure was built on the belief that training should make life easier for both you and your dog. We help people understand their dogs on a deeper level, not just how to get them to listen, but how to help them feel calm, confident, and capable in a human world.

Hi, I’m Raegan!

I started this business after realizing how misunderstood dogs can be. My own journey began during COVID when I quit my job and started walking dogs on Rover. Some of them struggled on leash, so I began helping them. Before long, I was helping their owners too. That simple spark turned into something much bigger, a career dedicated to education, connection, and growth.

At Canine Composure, we look at the whole dog, mindset, structure, and relationship. Because when you understand why your dog does something, you can finally teach them how to do better.

A Little About Me

When I’m not training, I’m usually outside hiking with my dog or exploring a new trail. I love mornings that start with movement and evenings that end with a blanket, a show, and a glass of wine. I believe in balance for dogs and people, and I think rest is just as important as structure.

I’m a big believer that training doesn’t have to feel rigid or serious. It can be calm, clear, and even a little fun. My clients would probably tell you I laugh a lot, talk too much about dogs, and overshare in the best way. I’m okay with that.

What I love most about this work is watching people start to truly see their dogs, not as a list of problems to fix, but as living, thinking beings trying their best to understand us. Once that clicks, everything else gets easier.

That’s what Canine Composure is all about. Helping you and your dog breathe, learn, and grow together.
